First of all, thanks for honouring the talented, sex on legs actor portrayed.
Now, I just love this painting. The violent, beautiful background mixes with the violent, beautiful and detailed clothing and character design creating a sort of chaotic harmony in the piece, that trully represents the spirit of the film. Spall himself is painted rather well, the movements of his expression with the different hues of his face that creat a sense of realism, horror and beauty at once.
